Slide Visions are two-dimensional temporal projections of higher dimensional objects.
A Slide object is created using sculptural or procedural methods in traditional 3D software such as Blender and ZBrush. Then it is transformed into a higher dimensional data object.
Custom made software is capable of rendering up to 13 unique spacial-temporal perspective Visions for each Slide. These 13 perspectives are derived from all the possible unique vectors/lines that can be drawn from the center of a cube to the centers of the points, lines, and planes that make up that cube. (Visual cues forthcoming)
As each Slide Vision is collected, another Slide Vision perspective will be unlocked, rendered, minted, and listed for sale. The final perspective offered will be the fundamental or original perspective created by the artist. For each Slide Object there will be a map showing the progress of slide production and sales.
Check back for further updates on the Slide Visions series including expanded process discussion and visualizations as well as documentation of new Slide Visions as they are released and collected.
