For my Relics artworks I am tuning into two primary energies from the Silk songs I’ve selected; the ambient buoyancy of the vocals/pads/strings, and the active power of the drums. I intend to harmonize with these ambient energies by creating scenes with synthesized ocean/water/wave aesthetics much like I’ve explored in my Off-The-Wall and OPTMSTX series. To run with the active energy of the drums I plan to introduce a wave-rider or swimmer type of spirit/being, similar to the beings from my Branes series, that will pump and carve through the scene in sync with the rhythms.
Each piece will be unique and respond the feelings I get from each song but they will also be closely related and feel like a coherent series.
